Skillet Riot was born out of a simple love for cooking — and the joy of sharing flavors that leave people saying “wow.” When I married a fellow food lover who shares that same spark, our kitchen quickly turned into a testing ground for bold new ideas.

The very first blend, Taco Throwdown, came from frustration with those little taco seasoning packets you find at the store. They never captured the rich, vibrant flavors of restaurant-style Tex-Mex. After plenty of trial and error, we finally nailed it — and the result quickly became a hit with family, friends, and even a local restaurant.

From there, the riot spread. Today, Skillet Riot is all about creating seasonings that bring big flavor without the junk — no MSG, no fillers, and no unnecessary salt. Whether it’s our taco blends or our fiery Hot Sauce Seasonings (all the flavor, none of the vinegar or soggy bits), each mix is made-to-order so it’s always fresh.
